I'm saying, BON VOYAGE, to this blog until September!! It, too, needs a vacation!! I may update after my girlfriends wedding but other than that don't expect to see "us" until September! Bye Bye DUBAI!!!

One last trip to the pool this am for a few hours, one last time picking the 'plants' (don't know what they are called), and we are all set!! Bye-Bye, hot sunny DUBAI, we will miss you but we are SO EXCITED to go home to visit friends & family...and have some "cool" weather!!

Bye-Bye Ry-Ry

Yes, we had to say the "dreaded" goodbye to Ry Ry...Fayth's Dubai boyfriend!!

Before we left the house, as I was grabbing my purse, Fayth disappeared to her craft table. I came to her and said, "What are we doing, we have to get going!" She said, "I have to make Ry Ry a card now. I said, "Oh, no we don't...we will on the plane...we must get going...Ry Ry is waiting for us!"

We met them in the squash court today so the kids could run around and then headed to the indoor playarea. It's a whomping 110 here today!! Ryan and his mommy were sweet enough to bring Fayth a little "scribble doodle" for the plane. It's like the perfect plane toy & size!! Thanks guys...we are really going to miss you both!! Stay cool this summer!! Can't wait to see you in September!!

Busy Bee!!

Thank goodness my little galpal has learned to "entertain" herself for a few hours!! I was able to majorly pack for us both, clean, do laundry, organize, etc... etc...for our trip home!!! She was doing puzzles & skipping on them, magnetic letters with baby, and riding her bike all around!! Just some fun photos!!

A Final Trip to the Mall

Mama needed new foundation, Fayth needed new undies, and we both wanted to see the fishies & sharks one last time before we left!! We headed to the Dubai Mall today with Lauren for some last minute shopping and lunch at Macaroni Grill. It's a great new restaurant that overlooks the aquarium. Yummy food as well! Us "gals" shared a pasta dish & great salad!

We headed to the mall with a list and "checked off" most all of the items. Lip smacker, new shoes for mama, and stickers were NOT on the list but somehow we came home with them...he he he...so fun to be "girls" and shop!!!!!

The "Vanney's" Baby Room

You'd think I'm having a baby...Fayth is so excited to be a "big sis" to the Vanney's upcoming arrival!! We went to their apartment on Saturday night to see the room and all the new contraptions before we leave!! Fayth had fun trying some of them out or putting "baby" in them. The room is just so adorable...and the closets...........OH, MY...........wish I had a photo of them to show you!!!! Let's just say this "kid" will be Dubai's best dressed for years to come!!!!

We are a little "sad" however; because unless she delivers in the next 48 hours...we won't meet the baby until we return in September. Good LUCK Lauren and Aaron...we are so excited to hear the news and will be watching your blog!!

Buckle Up to the BAR!!

Fayth had breakfast, next to "mommy" at the breakfast bar!! She is becoming a big "little" girl!! Yum Yum...eggs...so gooooooooooooooooood!

Bye Bye Max

As we were leaving the mall today...Fayth said bye bye to Max. Miss Dana caught it on camera~! So, cute!! I feel really good that Fayth has truly made some special friends here in Dubai! She will see him when we return in September!! As for Ry Ry...we'll see him at the pool this week! All these "boyfriends"...what's a girl to do??!! We will miss you all!! BOTH of us, will miss you all!!

Creating Cupcakes

Yes...a way to get "stay at home moms" out of the house in the heat...something FREE for the kids to do!! Today we headed to the Marina Mall for cupcake decorating. Jon was able to carpool with Aaron and leave us a car! We went with our friends KellyAnne & Ryan and met up with Dana & Max! The kids had a ball and we had fun taking a bunch of photos!! First dessert then lunch!! After making cupcakes we went to the ever famous McDonald's for happy meals!! A cheap fun day!! The first two photos are of Fayth coming out of her bedroom before we left and saying "ta-da"...I about died...she had put on some jewelry and was showing it all off!! I made her reenact it for a photo. As you can see...she had no problem doing it again!! Great plastic jewelry from the Easter "Gammy Bunny"...she loves it!! And Aysun, she loves her "evil eye" bracelet as well!! A girl after my own heart...jewelry lover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A "Nighttime" Playdate

Ryan came over last night for an evening playdate, dinner, bath and movie!! Sounds pretty good, hey!?! Indeed it was...and better yet...Ry Ry's parents got an evening out as a couple!!

Both Fayth and Ry Ry had a blast!! They are so much fun together. I must say, the noise level goes up a few octaves with TWO!! Once again, in my mind, ONE is perfect!!
