was last weekend and we had a blast. The "boys" started the festivities on Thursday evening at the Tracks in Cary. Then, on Friday they golfed 36 holes at Foxford Hills, ran home and showered, had dinner at TGIF's, and headed to Wool Street for the reunion kick-off!! I know they had a great time because they were fired up & LOUD when they got home at midnight!! Saturday am rolled around a little too quickly and they headed out for 18 more holes of golf at Chalet in Cary. This is when the wives came to town and "us ladies and kiddos" headed to the park for some fun in the sun!! Saturday afternoon was spent hanging, playing, eating, chatting, catching up, and then six adults sharing the bathrooms at the Jon folks house to get "Beautiful" for the big 20th!! Gammy and Papa were brave enough to watch all four children and we were grateful for that~(thanks guys...we appreciated it so much)!! We had beds, cribs, blow-up mattresses, and toys all over their home!! Next, we were off to Trout Valley's Lodge for the reunion. It was a total blast and fun to see Jon's old friends (and former parents of my students as well from Briargate)!!! Hanging with Jen & Kristen made for a great evening filled with good times and great drinks!!! A little TOO many for some of us!!! The evening wasn't complete without a Taco Bell run at 1:00 am...it was Jon and the 3 ladies...gotta love that!!! Oh, and almost forgot to mention...Jon and I got to take a private ride on a golf cart owned by Jon's good friend Vicki who tools around on it in Trout Valley!! We hopped on and Jon took me for a ride...so fun...especially tipsy (thank Vicki) !!!
So, a perfectly fun & memorable 20th for all!!
