Ladies Night Out

On Thursday, it was our turn!! And yes, ours was planned FIRST!! KellyAnne from Australia was tonight's "planner!" Unlike the guys, we try to have it be an authentic evening to the country of the lady planning it. Example, if you recall, we had Chicago Style pizza my night of planning. So, we headed, by foot, to Nezesaussi, a sports club with South African and AUSTRALIAN grub. The food was AWESOME and it happens to be one of Jon's favorite restaurants. It's located in the AlManzil (hotel where Jon stayed for years before me moved here). A lot of ladies had lamb chops, mixed meat skewers, but I had a delicious beef sandwich & french fries which came with gravy to dip the fries into! I took a few pictures of the presentation of the food.

We had seven ladies this time. A few new friends and a few "old friends!" We were also missing some of our friends tonight who were unable to make it. After dinner, we walked over to watch the 10:00 water show. We strolled along the promenade at Souk Al Bahar and got an up close and personal view of the show. WOW...it's so amazing to see. They shoot off every 15 minutes and have three different "routines" I believe. I couldn't pick a favorite if I had to. They are all stunning and HUGE! The ladies are leaning over the railing in the one photo and I thought it was a cute shot. Then we headed to a nightclub that was packed and decided to goto the new outdoor espresso bar right near the water show. We were full and done drinking...some of us had sparkling water & some had cappuccinos! Once again, it was a great night out! Can't wait until next month. Zeina, from Paris, is "shaking it up" and we are hitting the spa instead!! I say wine, cheese, and the spa sounds wonderful!! Stay tuned!!
