It wouldn't be a complete trip home unless I got to see my "Alphas" or best friends..."my girlies!" Last Friday, we met in Milwaukee (thanks girls for taking the day off & Robin, too), and spent the day catching up, eating, shopping, gossiping, but especially CELEBRATING Dionne's engagement! We have waited for the day our friend Dionne would meet MR. RIGHT and she has...Jeff is everything a girl could ask for...and we are so happy for her!!!!!! That evening was spent in downtown Delafield at a fabulous little restaurant called ZIN. We enjoyed numerous martinis and a fabulous meal. We spent hours talking about Dionne's special day and all the details. We will all be together again, including our missed Scottsdale friend Julie, on July 25th, her wedding day. We can't wait!!
The next morning GOD decided to make my trip from Ocontomowoc to Downers Grove a hairy one. There was a HUGE snowstorm in Wisconsin and I needed to travel south to my sister's. It should have taken about two hours but instead it took close to four! The roads were covered, the ditches were full, and the streets were slick! I did; however, finally make it safe and sound!
Thanks GIRLS for a perfect 24 hours together!! You are just the BEST!!
