Aaron and Lauren are here!! As a matter of fact, they are right down the street! Jon is super excited about that!! Aaron worked with Jon in Chicago and now he and his wife have made the move here as well. We are excited to have another couple to hang out with, play Wii, order in pizzas, hit the town, go shopping, go walking, all of that fun stuff you do with friends!
Lauren and Aaron have been here about three weeks and are already settled in with a newly furnished apartment. (Mind you ...they don't have kids...It took us a bit longer!)
Lauren and I have already hit the "shabby chic" shops of Dubai and checked out some new areas of town in regards to shopping. Lauren is quite the shopper!! Aaron and Jon have already gone to the Dubai Classic Golf Tournament, had many lunches out together, moved refrigerators, and their list goes on and on. Jon is thrilled to have Aaron in the Dubai office!
Aaron and Lauren treated us to dinner at "The Noodle House" at Madinat Jumeriah on Saturday night as a thank-you for all that Jon has done to help make their "moving in" process successful. We had a wonderful meal and great time! This will be the first of many meals out, I'm sure!! Thanks Vanney's and welcome to town!!
