This weekend we spent Friday night at EL CHICO a Mexican Restaurant down by the Gulf at a new hot spot in Dubai called "THE WALK"...filled with restaurants, stores, coffee shops, cafes, the beach...just a little bit of everything!
Max turns one on February 6th & Fayth turns two on the 8th. So we got together for an early birthday celebration.
The kids had the cookies we made earlier in the week with candles. The waitress was outstanding and put up with us & all of our "brought in stuff!" (Jon said I'm turning into my mother!!) I brought plates, balloons, blowers, napkins, cups, and cookies. I wanted it to be extra special for Max who is turning ONE!! I thought back to Fayth's one year bash and thought we have to WHOOP it up for him!! It's hard for Dana and Alan, Max's parents, to be so far away for a first birthday celebration!! Well, indeed...we whooped it up and the kids were so good! Fayth sat in her high chair for almost two hours...THAT'S A RECORD and Max just took it all in!! He loved it!! Jon, the photographer, did a great job capturing the party! Definitely some "framers!"
