Today we headed to my hometown, Rockford, to spend time with my parents. We enjoyed the pretty snowfall as we drove home. Fayth was excited it snowed and Gramie was excited it snowed for Fayth. She's been sending pictures of the snowfall in their backyard all winter long and wanted Fayth to experience it for herself.
It feels good to be home...especially since mom has made a lot of our favorite treats! I think we are going to gain weight this week...or at least gain what we lost with the flu!!
Gramie and Fayth continued the "tradition" of searching for a present & having a cookie together. Today was an extra special day for presents since it was Valentine's Day!
Jon enjoyed his favorite "damn good" brownies, that my mom makes for him, and hanging out with my dad watching the All Stars. It has been a great Welcome Home!
P.S. The last picture is us "goofing around"...but hey...it's Valentine's Day so I had to add it!

Nathan was thrilled to see you, and to ask how much money Mr. Evenson is making over there in Dubai. He loved the pics....especially the one that shows just his arm in the air since he's always asking questions! I loved sneaking in to see you as well. A quick hug and a laugh was better than nothing! You look fabulous by the way! Have a safe trip back. We love you!
