Let's Meet Barbie or Maybe Not!!??!!

After reading a local parenting magazine, I discovered it was Barbie's birthday and Toys R Us was going to have a birthday party for Barbie . Fayth received her first two Barbie dolls for Christmas from Auntie Cindy & she really likes them. So all dressed in pink, in another new adorable outfit, this time from Gramie...we headed to meet Barbie herself. Well, instead of going into GREAT detail...let's just say Barbie was a BUST! There were tons of "pushy" people there and no organization. It was a Barbie mad house. Fayth kept saying, where's Barbie??...even on Jon's shoulders it was too hard for her to see Barbie. Oh, well...she got to meet Giraffe and was terrified and hated him...so we moved onto the Dollie section of Toys R Us. The second reason we wanted to go there was Fayth has done a wonderful job of potty training and receives a dirham (a UAE coin) every time she goes. She has a stash of coins from the last FOUR accident free days! So, using her money in her own personal wallet, she said she wanted to buy a "nookie" for her baby and some more babies! Well, after searching the doll section that was HUGE, she ended up picking up a pack of accessories including a pacifier for her baby. This was about all she could afford. We tried to talk her into a new stroller but then we found the accessory kit. Sidebar, holy you know what, there are some creepy dolls that do some crazy things now a days...I think we'll stick to the "PRETTY" Bitty Baby and friend.

Now this is where I had fun...
Walking the selection of dolls and equipment I came across a baby PRAM!! Oh, my...it was so stinkin' cute. I have repaired the HAND ME DOWN STROLLER quite a few times and Fayth has been having trouble fitting BOTH babies in it at the same time. SO, WA-LA...as a "WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOUR POTTY TRAINING GIFT!" We walked out of Toys R Us with a brand new Pram. Let me just tell you this...it is so adorable!! SHE LOVES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Over priced and quite cheap...but so adorable and perfect for her two dolls & their blankets, food, bottles, etc...So the "Let's Meet Barbie" was a bust but the new pram is the BEST!!
