A Wonderful Birthday...

It was a great 29th birthday today...ha ha ha!!! That's what my lovely brother-in-law wished me...happy 29th...that's why I love him!!!

We slept until about 10:45 (don't ask...we are royally messed up this time back home & pray it gets better soon) and then I headed to lunch with my friend KellyAnne. Then she treated me to a manicure and pedicure. It was a little piece of heaven...thanks KA, I loved it! This afternoon, we FINALLY unpacked, did about four loads of laundry, mopped the floors, cleaned the house, and then had a birthday celebration!! Jon and Fayth did really good this year and I was TOTALLY surprised! Fayth painted me a picture ON HER OWN first thing this morning and also got out her play doe & MY rolling pin and made me a green heart for my birthday. It was the best!! I also got Marc Jacobs perfume, Daisy! Funny sidebar...I mentioned weeks back how I wanted Marc Jacobs, Lola...well, when I opened it, I was like "Oh, I like it but I wanted Lola"...Jon proceeds to say quote on quote, "I hated the Lola smell...it smelled like an old lady hooker!" Nice, hey...so for any of you out there that wear Lola...Lots of Luck!!! He preferred the Daisy and actually I LOVE IT, TOO!! I also got a portable photo printer!! How wonderful for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's for my scrapbooking...now I can take a photograph and have instant gratification!! Hurray!! I may just have to test it out tomorrow on my birthday photos!! Lastly, I was given a homemade gift certificate for a "shopping spree" next Friday at the outlets with my friend Dana, and a coupon for 6 massages!! Yippee...what a terrific birthday!! Spoiled rotten, hey??!! I was also showered with gifts at home from my families and sisters which were WONDERFUL this year as well!! All in all, a great "gift giving" birthday. To wrap up our day...tonight we walked over to Souk Al Bahar and had dinner outside on the terrace at Urbano. We watched the gorgeous fountains, enjoyed some Italian food, and of course had a "cake surprise" at the end!! We made sure to hit the carousal, a free one on the Burj boulevard, on our way to and from the restaurant. Fayth loved that part!! It was a wonderful birthday today!
