We've rescheduled going with our friends Aysun & Semih to the Polo Club about four times. However; things are meant to be...because...we finally went last night and it was the perfect night "weather wise" and just beautiful out. The polo club is a "country club" for polo matches, equestrian riding, and great restaurants! We sat outside and enjoyed the "horsies" while people were riding, jumping, and walking them for exercise. Fayth was able to run free and was in heaven. We went to the stables a few times and she pet numerous horses. All of the trainers talked to us and commented on how confident she was around them. She kept saying, "I want a horse." Well, that made both daddy and me happy...he'd love a horse and I'd love to live in Trout Valley when we return...so...we can kill two birds with one stone!! But really, she may be able to horse back ride and take lessons...but I don't see us owning a horse for her. I had a few friends growing up that owned horses and it is not only an expensive hobby it is endless hours of work and care for the animal.
Anyway, we had a very enjoyable dinner and evening with our friends. Aysun LOVES Fayth and would go with her anywhere she wanted! Fayth has a best friend who adores her!
We can't wait to go back. We may make it a monthly outing! Next time we'll go on a Friday night and watch a polo match!
