International Day at Preschool

Today at Fayth's Preschool, it was a celebration of the many nations and the kids represented their native country. They have been studying about the various areas of the world and have been traveling "with their passport" to different countries...reminded me of Amy & Kelly and their multi-age classroom at Oak Knoll School. We were each asked to bring a "native" dish and were suppose to dress our child in traditional clothes. Thanks to Lori, and our hand-me downs, I had a 4th of July dress that Fayth wore!! I made "pigs in a blanket" thinking USA is known for a good old Ballpark Hot dog!! They were GONE within seconds. Fayth wanted a second and no luck!! All the other authentic food...Indian, Lebanese, French, Turkish, Australian, and South African...it was still available. Leave it to the Americans to have the most UNHEALTHY but tasty treat!! Check out how stinkin cute these kids are...gotta love em!!
