Couple's Night Out

Thursday night we had planned to hit Barasti Bar, at the Marina, with our friends KellyAnne and her hubby Glen. Well, at 7:10 our phone rang and our babysitter missed her BUS! Yes, she comes from about 40 minutes away and takes a bus to a nearby hotel and then walks to our place. The buses come every hour, on the hour, so she needed to wait for the eight o'clock bus. So, we quick changed plans & had "pre-cocktails" at our place until she arrived and headed to a nearby Italian restaurant. After dinner, we went to The Address' outdoor bar, Calabar, and partied with the "Swanky" crowd of Dubai!! Oh, my...it's literally in our backyard and it's THE PLACE TO BE!! I could have "people watched" all night. It was jam packed...and you would have thought Paris Hilton was going to arrive any minute. Yes, there were some "lookers!" Thursday night in Dubai, is like Friday night, back home. It was a great time. While enjoying our "holy crap" expensive cocktails...we were able to view the awesome water show up close and personal. It's just the most amazing dancing water show and it's still in the "practice" stage. It hasn't officially been "released." The ruler of Dubai is going to "cut the tape" on the show this coming Friday night. We will definitely try to make it to the kick off of the show!! It felt good to have a Couple's Night Out!
