Fayth LOVES the water and has since she was a little peanut! I remember her first summer going to Forest Hills Country Club a few times a month and she would float & smile for hours. Then, while visiting Julie last spring break she just LOVED the pool and her hot pink "car" float. So...what better place to live than Dubai!! When we first moved here in September we bought her a vest and water wings. After a few months we dropped the vest and she just used the wings. She would always want us right there. Then, by about December she started having more confidence. Now...she is truly...our little swimmer! She floats on both her tummy and back, she kicks and moves her hands "doggie style" and actually moves forward, she LOVES going into the big pool, she jumps in with our assistance, and now she has her very own Barbie kickboard that she loves. She can have a ball for hours upon hours just getting in and out, playing with her water toys, and swimming. GOOD thing we have LOTS of sunscreen. Our new ritual is a 3:00-5:00 swim instead of hitting the play area. It seems to be the new "cooler" hang out.
** In the picture with me she's NOT HAPPY because she had to get out of the pool to take a picture with me. My friend Zeina showed up and I wanted a picture of us together since I'm always on the other side of the camera!!
***In the last picture, she is with her little friend Alma who she loves to play with. The girls are a few months apart.
