Mother's Day at School

Today was a "Mum's Breakfast Tea" at Fayth's school. Jon took her early while I finished off the French Toast Bake and got myself ready. It was very nice to see other mommies and their children enjoying puzzles, games, and just mingling amongst the adults. I met one mom who's husband is the head manager of Cartier at the Dubai Mall and designs a bunch of the items for her and the store. WOW...what a career!! They are from Lebanon and she has a son Fayth's age at school and is do to "bust" anyday...another little boy!! You be your bazooka's I asked her what kind of jewelry she was going to get for this baby?? She was super sweet and down to earth...Almost embarrassed to talk about all of her fine jewelry...but wow...stunning things!! I think I was drooling at one point!! Fayth enjoyed doing a few puzzles with me, building a tower, and drawing a crocodile. She loves showing me all her work at school. She polished down a BOATLOAD of food and went for seconds and thirds!! The French Toast Bake was a HUGE hit and not a drop left. I've even been asked by a few for the recipe. It's "my own" and so yummy!! It was originally from Cooks.com...but I tweaked it a bit!! I am going to post it as well. A super easy thing to make the night before...let set and pop in the oven!! I loved my Mother's day special decorated box with precious saying!! It's not a box to open...it's a special box to keep and look at with a very appropriate saying!! Very sweet!! It was a special morning and I am so happy that I am lucky enough to be SO involved in Fayth's life right now!! I love being her mommy!! Kinda wish I could keep her this age for awhile longer??
