My Mother's Day...

started out WAY TO DAMN EARLY!!!!!!

Yes, a little person, was in my "grill" at 5:30 "am" that is!!!!!!!

She was up and raring to go!!! Literally, bouncing off the walls!!! She went and got me my present and then we told her to get the camera for photos. She came back with her camera and snapped a few of our morning!! Glad they are blurry...cuz mama was looking and feeling a little ROUGH!!!!! A day of bow sales will do that to ya!!!!!! Anywho...I received two great homemade cards...one from Fayth and the other from daddy...and a gorgeous pink tourmaline and diamond ring. I've wanted a pink stone and have searched for one for YEARS!! Finally, decided that pink sapphire was too expensive and pink tourmaline was just as pretty!! So, I scored a beautiful pink stoned ring for Mom's Day!!! After waking up and watching a bit of TV...we headed to the new Blvd. Cafe for breakfast!!! Fayth donned her fancy new linen dress from Gammy, a favorite of mine, and pretty hairbow from Auntie Jill with a fancy little "do." The Cafe has my new favorite iced latte in town and they make really yummy food as well. Fayth was a bit naughty...a "tired" naughty (no excuse but true)...but it was a nice walk to breakfast, a nice meal, and a leisurely walk home!!! She got to bring "her baby" with since it was our Mother's Day celebration. (For any newbies reading this blog...Jon works Sunday through Thursday so we alter our holiday celebrations a bit.) It was a perfect Mom's Day!!! Now, I'm off to nap while the others are fast asleep. We are going to hit the pool this afternoon and then to the mall to see "free divers" in the aquarium later tonight!! It's another fun Mom's Day in Dubai and I look forward to Fayth's "Mother's Day" breakfast at school on Monday morning!! Thanks Pookie and Fayth...I loved my day and my new ring!!! Remember...ya can't ever go wrong with jewelry and me~~~!!!!!!!!!
