Yesterday afternoon we had our little friend Veronica over for about three hours while her mommy had her hair done!! It was "payback" time since Lauren was so very helpful during our HGTV taping a few weeks ago!! Well, 'lil' Miss V is just so cute and was SUCH a good girl. She never cried and mostly smiled, oohed...and aahed..., and giggled!! Fayth slept for two of the three hours and then once sleepy head decided to wake up we went for a walk to have ice cream before dinner!! It was so much fun having her around. I must say though...WOW...how quickly you forget even just running to the bathroom makes you nervous and you can't really do anything without a little person on your lap. I didn't have any of her "contraptions" here so we rolled around and played ball on our bed, Skyped with my sister in law, and learned how to color and "ate" a bit of the paper!! Opps...Lauren...hope you aren't reading this...or perhaps you saw a little yellow post-it note in her diaper today!! Sorry...she loved it!! And we LOVED having her. Sign us up...she is welcome anytime!!
