Monday Madness!!

Yesterday was a fun-FILLED day that kept going and going and going!! We started out at the pool for few hours of relaxation...we needed this after our crazy dune bashing the night before. The weather has been picture perfect for Robin and not TOO hot!! The skies have been so clear and blue. After the pool, we got our workout gear on and hit the Burj Boulevard for a power walk to the mall. We were sweating at this point!! Stopped for a few quick photos and then hit the food court for a lunch with a "coupon"...my famous coupons!! Then we spent time shopping, checking out the huge mall, and spending some money. It was so fun to have Robin to go shopping with. It was like old times. And YES, it cost Jon some dough!! After shopping we walked to Souk Al Manzil and shopped a bit more and then scooped up Fayth. She had a great day at school and was in a super mood!! When we got home...I had some new fun surprises for her and she loved them all. I hit the jackpot at H&M for her and couldn't resist a few new outfits. By this time...it was a mad rush to make dinner for Fayth, get in the shower, get all "cutie" and head out to Madinat Jumeirah for dinner at the Left Bank. My friend Lauren came with us as well. Jon drove us and dropped us off so we didn't have to cab there. We shopped some more, had a super dinner, and many cocktails. The three of us got along like we've been "lifelong" friends!! Robin understands why Madinat is a favorite of mine. We sat at a high top table with a view of the manmade waterways and beautiful Burj Al Arab. And YES...we used a coupon!! After that, we headed out onto the Palm to the "new happening chill-out beach bar" called Nasimi!! IT WAS AWESOME......."OH...........SO SO SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!" This bar is a "new addition" to The Atlantis that sits on the end of the palm. We were literally sitting feet away from the gulf, on huge bean bag chairs, people everywhere chillin' out, some smoking shiesha, others having cocktails and listening to the peaceful sound of the waves!! This bar came highly recommended from my friend Karen...and she knows Dubai well...it was so perfect and a new favorite of mine!! At about midnight, we were pooped and called it a day!!! So from sun rise to well beyond sunset...it was a Monday filled with madness!!
