Mommy Daughter Day...kinda a BUST!!

Not really...but kinda!! Started the day at the pool at 8:00 am...then headed to the MOE to make pottery at the Ceramics Cafe...well...showed up...and guess what...closed down and moved to Jumeriah Beach Road three months ago!! I even WAITED until we got in the car to say "surprise"...we're going to make pottery...and a certain little person was SOSOSOSO excited!! (The picture of her in her carseat) I felt awful and learned a lesson to always call first!! So, we decided to head to the inside soft gym and play land instead!! I was crawling through tubes, going down slides, and playing while other parents & nannies were looking at me like I was nuts!! However; this was OUR day together...so I couldn't just sit there!! After playing, for an hour, Fayth had an Auntie Anne's pretzel dog for lunch and gobbled it down rather quickly. We then were off, to Carrefor, to look for a soft comforter that was on SALE and super cheap to have in her bedroom for playing on etc. She found it in the local newspaper ad last week and has been asking about it every since. So...this is how this part of the story goes....We walked in Carrefor (imagine Super Wal-mart on a Saturday before Christmas) and trudged through people and displays in search for this comforter. Well, this is where the SECOND "BUST" comes in... not even five steps away...we see the display and there is the last triple princess one right smack dab in the center ...then out of left field and now we're two steps away a lady grabs it and tosses it into her cart. Oh, boy...I wanted to cry...how was I going to explain this one!! Well, she took it like a real pro...and we found a million other treasures instead!! Once again, she made me proud...no tears or whining!! She is in love with her three new pairs of cheapy fun shoes and her water noodle. So, a BUST...kinda in the fact that nothing happened the way I had it planned...but as a Mommy/ Daughter Day...no way...it was perfect!!

P.S. The picture of her dancing in the front seat is to Miley Cyrus in the parking lot of the mall...she loves to dance and shake what her mama gave her!!
