and boy o boy was she excited!!! Up two times, couldn't sleep, worried how the bunny was going to get in, and ready to start the festivities at 5:00. Mind you....I just spent over 12 hours on my feet and wanted to "die" I was so tired...but sleeping in was NOT part of the program. We started with the plastic egg-hunt (compliments of Gammy bunny) and she loved searching for the little eggs filled with silly little gifts she loves!! While searching for eggs, she found her "Easter bunny" gift...the micro scooter she's been asking for!! This took the place of a basket this year. (please check out the cute korker bow addition that the Easter bunny did!) She loves it and has been practicing all morning on really getting the hang of it. Then, we moved onto the Gammy and Papa gifts & Grass family presents!!!!!! Well, the excitement of the scooter stopped there because GAMMY listened to the little lady's request and got her a digital camera of her own. BOY O BOY..............spoiled rotten................and lovin' life!!! She's been snapping photos all morning long and I can't wait to load them up on my computer and see what she's got!! She also received some gorgeous outfits, stuffed toys, and various Easter "goodies." Next, onto Chloe's gift to Fayth. This happens to be the 'most special' of the presents. Chloe thought up the idea, cut, sewed, stuffed, and MADE Fayth her own stuffed animal. Jill did not assist ONE single bit. Fayth loved it and I think the picture proves it. Chloe...you are a sweet young lady and have a little gal cousin that truly loves you!!! That was extremely thoughtful!!! Finally, we wrapped it up with great gifts from the rest of the Grass clan...including an adorable Hello Kitty handmade hair accessory by Jill, some WELL needed jammies, some great lip smackers ( I may be stealing) , stickers, jewelry and candies.
I even got two great Easter presents...an adorable new Vera Bradley from Gammy & Papa which I love...very vintage looking...and a flat screen, paper thin digital picture frame which I've already uploaded 250 pictures to. We don't EVER do Easter, Jon and I, but I LOVE MY DIGITAL FRAME GIFT and it was a great surprise!!! Jon...he got some "cold hard cash" from the Gammster when he was in the USA and a "stinky breathed kiss" from me!!! WOW...a great Easter all around!!!
So, was Easter a BIG HIT...........YES............a huge hit.................and this afternoon we are off to an Easter Egg Hunt and chocolate bunny decorating with tons of our friends and their kids!!!
