After the G & D park, we went to the famous Mall of the Emirates. We decided to ride the chairlift in Ski Dubai 1/2 way up and have lunch at the Avalanche Cafe and then continue to the top for the rest of the ride. Robin is so happy we decided to do this...it was so "cool!" I think I got some really great photos!! When you think about this massive structure in the middle of a mall in the middle of a desert...it's truly mind boggling. Wonder what their "electric bills" run them every month???? Our lunch was fun...we sat outside in the cold under heat lamps and sipped the best hot chocolate I've ever had!! Then we came back down, ripped off our snowsuits, and hit the mall for some shopping. I took Robin to our "Super Wal-mart" called Carrefor and she picked up some good deals. We were running low on energy but still had to stop by the Dubai Mall for a return/exchange for Fayth's H & M stuff and to get some more money exchanged at the Currency Exchange for Robin. At 4:30 we were finally finished!! We picked up Fayth and came home. Even though I was ready to fall over...I prepared a nice dinner for the three girls. Jon was off to softball. After dinner and playing with Fayth...we tucked her in and watched the Notebook. A great chick-flick!! I had never seen the movie before and it was Robin's 8th time!! We had a great day and I'm sad "today" Friday...is Robin's last day! We plan to relax, hit the pool all morning with the family, run to pick up Dave a shirt from a Golf Club, have dinner and pack Robin up to leave. It has been so perfect and so much fun!! I cherish our friendship like no other...and will have MEMORIES of her trip here FOREVER!! Thanks Robin for being my BFF and coming to visit us here in Dubai!! Love ya...me!! :-)

They got some new gear to wear. I like what you are wearing. Remember Steve and I wore those big black jackets and I had on my jean skirt. Glad you guys had so much fun.
