Rainforst Cafe

Tonight we headed to the "new" or newer Rainforest Cafe Dubai. Fayth has been wanting to go for awhile now so tonight was the special night. She was excited and scared all together. However; SHE LOVED IT once she was inside and couldn't get enough of all the animals. It's really cool because it sits on the back side of the aquarium so you are in the "rainforest" and see the sharks and fishies too!! Our meal was actually really good and the service was wonderful. Definitely not the cheapest meal...but well worth the experience!! Before we left we packed her purse and her own little coin purse so she could buy herself a trinket at the giftshop. She was so cute looking for the perfect toy, a baby plastic elephant to go with her "momma" elephant. After searching the giftshop she walked to the counter...we counted out 15 dirham, she handed it to the lady and said thank you! It was a "proud" mommy moment. I've been working with her on counting and using HER money to buy little treasures that mommy can't always afford! The concept of money & not getting everything you want is a great "life-long" skill that I think "little people" should understand from an early age onwards! She did so well and we were very proud of her! All and all it was a great Friday night out!
